Northern Territory PHN (NT PHN) coordinates a comprehensive education and training Event Calendar »
The Event Calendar includes events presented by NT PHN, as well as external providers and is subject to change. Contact and registration details for each event can be found by selecting the event title on the calendar.
NT PHN encourages all primary health care organisations and professionals to subscribe to NT Primary Health Weekly to keep informed of current news, medical alerts and events.
How to Register for an Event
All NT PHN events are marked in light blue on the events calendar. To RSVP for all NT PHN events, please click on the Register Now button shown in the specific event information. Each registrant is required to fill in their details to RSVP for the event.
All eligible health professionals are welcome to attend NT PHN events, in most case these events are free to attend, however, some events may incur a small fee which will be advertised with the event information. To be eligible to attend an NT PHN event, attendees must meet one of the following criteria:
- delivers primary health care
- coordinates the delivery of primary health care, for example - care coordinator
- works for an organisation which delivers primary health care.
How to Register for a non-Northern Territory PHN Event
To register for all non-NT PHN events, please refer to the specific event information located on the Event Calendar. Please note, NT PHN is unable to receive these registrations directly.
Accreditation and Continuing Professional Development Points
NT PHN Education and Training events are developed using the results from an annual Training Needs Assessment and identified community needs.
NT PHN has endorsed accredited provider status to accredit education activities with the following organisations:
- Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) »
- Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) »
Where applicable, CPD points will also be sought from these accredited providers for NT PHN events.
How to Advertise an Event
If you would like to advertise your organisation's event on the Event Calendar, please complete the online submission form by clicking the button below:
It is recommended that events are advertised at least four weeks in advance to ensure participants have adequate time to plan their attendance.
Please note NT PHN retains final editorial discretion.
