NT PHN to offer additional rural and remote CPD training in 2017

The Northern Territory PHN (NT PHN) and Northern Territory General Practice (NTGPE) annual Compass Teaching and Learning Conference 2017 has been rescheduled due to a change in NT PHN’s funding cycles. The event will be deferred from May to the second half of 2017.

The Compass Teaching and Learning Conference is the collaborative effort of the longstanding partnership between NT PHN and NTGPE that focuses on offering health workers in the Territory education, training and networking.

NT PHN and NTGPE acknowledge the significance of a date change for an anticipated event such as Compass, and remains committed to providing education and continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities to support health professionals throughout the year.

From February 2017, NT PHN will be partnering with NTGPE’s Mobile Office events by offering tailored learning and networking opportunities in rural and remote areas. This series of CPD events known as Pop-up PHN, will be held for general practitioners and allied health professionals in key locations across the Northern Territory, in addition to NT PHN’s usual calendar of education and CPD events.

NT PHN looks forward to providing information about the Pop-up PHN in the near future.
