Access to Allied Psychological Services (ATAPS)

The ATAPS programme is an Australian Government initiative for the provision of short-term evidence based mental health services for people with mental illness through arrangements with Primary Health Networks (PHNs). All services provided are to be targeted to give priority to population groups that have particular difficulty in accessing mental health treatment in the primary care sector.

ATAPS Referral Process

Since 1 August 2016, the ATAPS triage service is delivered by CatholicCare NT. ATAPS Triage Service liaise with GPs and referral sources to review client eligibility and allocate referrals to ATAPS providers.
ATAPS Triage Service can be contacted Monday to Friday during business hours.
