The Compass Teaching and Learning Conference is Northern Territory PHN incorporating Rural Workforce Agency NT’s premier professional development and networking event for primary health care professionals.
The 2019 conference was held in Darwin on 30-31 August, focusing in on the theme Uncharted Territory: The future of primary health care.

Practitioners of all specialities – doctors, allied health professionals, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health practitioners, nurses and practice staff – anyone who is interested in learning and sharing their professional knowledge of primary health care in their regional or remote setting.
These awards recognise health professionals who are striving to customise their service and engage their patients and peers to improve health and wellbeing in the Northern Territory. The awards are presented annually at the Compass Teaching and Learning Conference Gala Dinner.
