Rural Workforce Agencies

There are seven government-funded Rural Workforce Agencies (RWAs) across Australia. Every year they support more than 6,000 rural health professionals and 1,800 rural practices.

A sustainable workforce is critical to the prevention and treatment of chronic disease in rural and remote health.
