Arafura Medical Clinics are seeking full time general practitioners to join their Berry Springs and Humpty Doo clinics in the Northern Territory, to provide excellent clinical care to the residents and surrounds.

What’s the role?

The primary purpose of the role is to provide the highest standard of patient care, incorporating a holistic approach toward diagnosis and management of illness while promoting health and well-being.

  • Delivering best-practice primary health care
  • Providing appropriate care and services to patients of all age ranges and varied health care needs
  • Management of long-term conditions
  • Providing appropriate health promotion and preventative health care

What do you need to apply?

  • Current specialist registration with the AHPRA
  • General AHPRA registration considered
  • Two to five years previous experience in general practice
  • CPR or ALS certificate, undertaken within the past three years
  • Current medical indemnity cover
  • Current Police Clearance and current NT Working with Children (Ochre Card)
  • Current Driver’s License

Opportunities for overseas trained General Practitioner or Junior Doctors:

  • Do you hold general AHPRA registration and looking for a career change into general practice?
  • Or are you an overseas trained general practitioner, eligible for provisional AHPRA registration?
  • Are you a Junior Doctor in PGY 3-5 and interested in experiencing life in general practice?
