Berrimah Family Practice, are seeking experienced General Practitioners to join their passionate team.

Berrimah Family is conveniently located inside Berrimah Chemist Warehouse and committed to providing the best quality health care. Services include, women’s health, men’s health, children’s health checks, mental health, a strong focus on preventative health care and Indigenous health with culturally appropriate care.

Blood and Pathology services are onsite, with a full time Registered Nurse and two to three student nurses. Treatment rooms are fully equipped and an Ultrasound machine is onsite for ease of use.

As the successful General Practitioner, you will join a friendly and dynamic team to provide high quality primary health care services to deliver your best health care, whilst enjoying the Northern Territory lifestyle, amazing sunsets and exploring stunning locations.

Key Duties:

  • Provide appropriate care and services to patients of all age ranges and varied health care needs
  • Management of long-term conditions in line with national guidelines and pathways
  • Encourage appropriate health promotion and preventative health care advice to all patients

What You Need To Apply:

  • Unrestricted working rights within Australia
  • Current specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • 2-5 years Australian experience in general practice
  • Experience in Aboriginal Health is an advantage
  • CPR or ALS certificate, undertaken within the past three years
  • Current Medical Indemnity insurance cover
  • Current Police Clearance and Working with Children (Ochre Card)
  • Current Driver’s License

Non-VR Overseas Trained GP’S
The general practitioner will be required to provide evidence of:

  • Eligible for provisional AHPRA registration
  • Current AMC Certificate
  • Current primary source verification of medical qualifications (EICS verification)
  • Current OET or ILETS test results
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
