Cavanagh Medical Centre is currently seeking an experienced specialist General Practitioner for a three month contract with opportunity to extend. You will be supported by a caring and passionate team, whilst delivering your best health care to the residents of Darwin.

The philosophy of Cavenagh Medical is to enable and encourage people to make the best health choices available to them through clear communication with the treating staff, good resources and providing high quality staff who are committed to their work. Cavenagh Medical offer personalised attention and clinical service to each patient.

Clinic opening hours:

  • Open Monday to Saturday
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8 am to 5pm
  • Tuesday 8 am to 8 pm, Thursday 8 am to 6 pm
  • Saturday 9 am to 12 noon
  • Varying shifts available – please enquire for further detail

What you need to apply:

  • Current non-restricted registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (APHRA)
  • Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM, or vocational registration
  • Women’s health interest, Aged care interest and procedural skin cancer skills desired
  • Current Police and Working with Children clearances
  • Current Indemnity Insurance certificate
  • Current CPR or ALS certificate
  • COVID double vaccination record
  • COVID training module certificate
