Central Australian Aboriginal Congress are currently seeking an experienced GP Locum for their Sadadeen Clinic located in the Sadadeen Shopping Complex in Alice Springs Northern Territory.
The Sadadeen Clinic provides a range of bulk-billed medical care for Aboriginal people living in the Sadadeen area including:
- Treatment for illness
- Check-ups
- Immunisations
- Access to medicine
- Counselling and psychology
- Care for eyes and ears
- Care for feet
- Care for long term illness
- Care for the frail, aged and disabled
- Healthy lifestyle promotion
Benefits
- $1200 per day
- $1000 placement bonus for working 20 days
- One off $400 travel bonus if traveling outside placement dates
- All travel, accommodation and vehicle provided
Clinic Opening Hours
- 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
- 9:30am to 5:00pm Wednesday
- The GP Locum will not be required to do any on call work or call out
Daily Rate
- $1200 per day

- 4 weeks minimum placement
Eligibility Criteria
- Current non restricted registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and General Practice Specialisation is essential
- Previous experience working in Indigenous health
