What’s the role?
- Provide case consultation and advice on complex case work and clinical practices.
- Work with SEWB team members to develop place-based models of care that are culturally informed, family-centred and guided by best practice literature.
- Facilitate culturally safe learning forums and support wellbeing and healing practices within the team.
- Support staff to facilitate participatory approaches to program development and planning.
- Support teams to develop and implement programs, as per program guidelines and plans.
- Provide clinical and organisational supervision
Is this the right role for you?
- Relevant qualification in Counselling, Social Work or Psychology and minimum five years’ experience in relevant practice and team leadership
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including report writing and case note writing and supervision, and the ability to communicate effectively with managers, staff and stakeholders across a range of diverse cultural groups and settings.
- Experience in providing supervision to multi-disciplinary staff.
- Cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
