Gove Pharmacy is an independently owned Pharmacy which is a part of the Amcal group. They have been looking after the health needs of Nhulunbuy and East Arnhem Land for over 40 years. What’s the role?

  • Supply of medications in accordance with Pharmacy Board of Australia regulations, including scheduled and non-scheduled items
  • Recording and dispensing of medicines to meet all requirements of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
  • Consistently provide a high standard of customer service including the positive handling of customer complaints
  • Counselling customers on the use of their prescriptions and OTC medicines where necessary
  • Suitable candidates may be involved in visits to local health centres for a variety of professional support tasks.

Is this the right role for you?

  • Unconditional AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
  • Prior experience working within teams and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work unsupervised in either a retail pharmacy or busy Dose Administration Aid section
  • Willingness to work both inside and outside a normal retail pharmacy environment
  • Good communication skills both with internal staff and other health professionals
  • Strong organisational skills and a passion to deliver exceptional health outcomes for our clients.

NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
