What’s the role?

  • Assessing physical condition to diagnose musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiothoracic conditions and apply affective treatment measures
  • Applying a range of physiotherapy techniques to account for the client’s needs (including tailored exercises, massage therapy, hydrotherapy, and breathing and relaxation techniques, clinical Pilates, shock wave therapy and acupuncture)
  • Professionally apply the use of equipment such as heat, ice, exercise equipment and ultrasound/ electrotherapy technologies
  • Referring patients to other medical professionals if necessary
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, educating the wider community and providing exceptional service

Is this the right role for you?

  • Bachelors degree or Masters in Physiotherapy
  • 2 years experience as an AHPRA registered Physiotherapist
  • Experience in managing a wide variety of clients and using different therapeutic treatments
  • At least 1-year experience in private practice
  • Membership at relevant professional body

NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
