What’s the role?
Duties include:

  • Provide support that is person centred, recovery focused and strengths based to manage and treat dual diagnoses
  • Provide services including case management, case consults and counselling
  • Provide a holistic approach to the management and treatment of AOD and Mental Health, responding to the needs of participants who are experiencing co-occurring challenges
  • Promote adherence to the model of care, cultural safety, inclusive practice and trauma informed care

Is this the right role for you?
Not limited to but before you apply, we need you to have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology
  • Current APHRA Registration
  • Experience in facilitating group work in an AOD context
  • Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people and utilising a SEWB frameworks
  • This position is classified as a mandatory worker position for the purpose of COVID-19 vaccines and directions issued by the NT Chief Health Officer.
