Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) have a full time permanent opportunity for an experienced RN to join as a Team Leader to manage complex clinical care support teams in Alice Springs and Darwin. ARRCS Community Care programs provide support under government funded programs for aged and disability clients.

What’s the role?
The role of Team Leader Clinical Care is responsible for leading the Clinical and Non-Clinical Case Managers and Liaison & Assessment Nurses within the Complex Care team, ensuring appropriate case management and clinical care is provided for the Aged and Complex community clients. Reporting to the Complex Care Manager, you will work collaboratively to align services to your peers in Darwin or Alice Springs and drive overall performance of community clinical teams and programs.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to-

  • Monitoring and reviewing current systems and processes with the view of improving the internal and external procedures
  • Ensuring the team manage and keep up to date Care Plans, recommending and reviewing services and activities to mitigate the over provision of services or items the client may not be eligible to receive
  • Leading the day to day operation of Clinical Care team ensuring you lead by example to inspire a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Setting clear team goals, delegating tasks and setting deadlines ensuring work is achieved within required company, legislative and client expected timeframes
  • Managing and providing ongoing team training, ensuring team training is compliant with Organisational Training Matrix and new members to the team are inducted and trained for job proficiency and role success
  • Generating and sharing comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, company related objectives and other reports requested by Management team

To be successful in this role, you will bring a high level of clinical governance and team management experience to ensure ARRCS services are consistent with the care plans, relevant legislation, quality framework and funding guidelines through clear communication, system administration and linking the outputs to ensure appropriate planning for services.
Before you reach out and apply, we need you to have:

  • Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in Aged Care or Community Clinical Care including in home care, treatment and following clinical protocols and procedures
  • Demonstrated previous experience in leading, managing and driving a diverse team
  • Demonstrated ability in communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training, development and competency skill checks
  • Demonstrated ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) and online client reporting systems
  • Current National Police Check, Flu Vaccination, First Aid Certificate, OCHRE card and NT Drivers’ License or a willingness to obtain prior to commencing
