This COVID-19 Vaccine Workshops key focus is to promote vaccine uptake across the Northern Territory and northern Western Australia.
The Sharing Success session will include presentations from AMSANT, Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, KAMS/ WACHS/ RFDS, Danila Dilba Health Service, Mala’la Health Service, & others.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions from an expert panel in the Smashing Myths Q&A.

This workshop is supported by Menzies School of Health Research, Telethon Kids Institute, Flinders University and NT PHN to promote COVID-19 vaccine uptake across rural and remote Australia.
Discuss strategies and ask questions with key stakeholders from the Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory (AMSANT), Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, Mala’la Health Service, Kimberly Aboriginal Medical Service/ WA Country Health Service, Danila Dilba, NT PHN, NT Health and others.
Flinders University and NT Primary Healthcare Network will facilitate the Alice Springs Regional Hub, an opportunity for Central Australian professionals to participate in the face to face workshop held by Menzies School of Health Research and Telethon Kids Institute in Darwin, via teleconferencing.
The workshop will be held in person at Menzies School of Health Research in Darwin on Wednesday, November 3rd (with option to attend via zoom) by Menzies School of Health Research and Telethon Kids Institute.
Will workshop will provide an opportunity for people working on the ground across all aspects of the vaccine roll out (AHPs, nurses, GPs, health promotion staff) to discuss strategies and ask questions to the expert panel, whilst sharing and learning from their peers in a local context.
Afternoon tea will be provided.
