They provide a broad range of family counselling and support, financial wellbeing, domestic and family violence programs, housing, aged care advocacy, AOD, mental health, employment, and community development programs. These programs are funded through various NT and Australian Government contracts.

What’s the role?
- Provide leadership and supervision to Darwin based Team Leaders/Lead Practitioners in Counselling Services and Men’s DFV Services
- Assist Team Leaders to support teams involved in family and relationship counselling, school counselling, EAP, Access EAP and crime victims counselling
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, client-centered services that promote well-being and healing
Is this the right role for you?
- Relevant tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, counselling, or a related field, post graduate qualifications would be desirable
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional governing body.
- Extensive experience in counselling, preferably in one of the following; family and relationship counselling and groupwork, school counselling, and crime victims counselling.
- Proven experience in program management, including the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate counselling services. Experience with DSS programs desirable.
- Ability to work to targets, meet deadlines and manage compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
