What’s in it for you?
- $104,092 salary + 11% super
- Salary packaging option (up to an additional $15,895 p/a)

What’s the role?
- Provide a wide range of Maternal & Child health promotion services to families living in five different communities in and around Mparntwe – Alice Springs, including remote communities and outstations in Central Australia.
- Work to strengthen the delivery of both First Nations and Western health promotion practices
- With each community, develop and assess health needs, and create and design culturally appropriate and First Nations language-based resources
- Work in partnership with other local health and wellbeing service partners to deliver First Nations Cultural health and wellbeing
Is this the right role for you?
- Relevant Degree/qualification in Health Promotion, Maternal Child Health, Midwifery, or equivalent work experience
- Significant experience and expertise and demonstrated success in health promotion and Maternal and Child Health
- Experience working with First Nations communities and an understanding of the effects of colonisation, disempowerment and intergenerational trauma
- Strong relationship, networking and communication skills
- Current driver’s licence, OCHRE Card & National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Please note, some travel may be required to go on country, including some evenings and weekends. Accommodation will be provided when travelling.
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
