What is the role?

  • Provide case consultation services using high level clinical expertise in the assessment, treatment & delivery of targeted interventions to young people experiencing eating disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with RDH and Adolescent Eating Disorder Service
  • Provide intensive flexible, case coordination and mental health interventions for young people experiencing eating disorders
  • Provide youth friendly, developmentally appropriate and evidence based psychological interventions to young people with emerging or existing eating disorders
  • Provide family based therapeutic interventions and practices to families of young people experiencing eating disorders

Is this the right role for you?

  • Approved tertiary qualification and minimum 3 years’ experience in a health-related discipline and registration with the relevant regulatory body such as AHPRA
  • Experience in the provision of evidence-based treatment for young people and/or adults experiencing eating disorders
  • Experience in the planning and provision of mental health clinical care
  • Experience in providing clinical case consultation, clinical supervision or mentoring of health professionals.

NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
