  • Base salary range $155,961 – $166,861 (p.a.)

What’s the role?

  • Provide culturally safe, high quality, and comprehensive dental services for Congress clients.
  • Coordinate Congress’ dental services in collaboration with the Manager – Allied Health and Senior Dental Assistant.
  • Ensure dental services are provided in accordance with Congress’ clinical standards, clinical governance framework, and cultural safety policies.
  • Supervise and support the Dental Service team.
  • Liaise with external agencies as required to improve and increase the profile of Aboriginal oral health

Is this the right role for you?

  • Current APHRA registration as a Dental Practitioner with a minimum five years’ practical experience, in a wide range of dental assessment and procedures for adults and children.
  • Excellent communication skills, in particular the ability to communicate sensitively in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Understand appropriate approaches to Aboriginal health, with knowledge of the philosophy and practice of Aboriginal Community Control.
  • Excellent time management and administration skills and experience in leading a team of health professionals.
  • Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations.

NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
