Nominations open for the Administrator’s Medals in Primary Health Care

Territorians who have had a positive experience with an individual, a team or a whole of practice/health service are encouraged to nominate them for an Administrator’s Medal in Primary Health Care.

The awards are presented annually by Her Honour the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AO, Administrator of the Northern Territory to recognise Territory health professionals.

Nominations are welcomed within three categories – individual, team or whole of practice/health service to recognise contributions to improving health outcomes for Territorians.

Finalists will be invited to attend the awards evening at Government House on Wednesday, 1 September where award recipients will be presented with their medal by the Administrator of the Northern Territory during an official ceremony.

Her Honour the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AO, Administrator of the Northern Territory said, “Our Territory health professionals play such an important role in supporting the community – from our urban centres, to our regions and remote communities and I’m thrilled to be able to recognise the outstanding individuals, teams and practices that contribute to the primary health care sector.”

The Administrator’s Medals in Primary Health Care are proudly sponsored by Northern Territory Primary Health Network, Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory, Health Providers Alliance Northern Territory, the Centre for Remote Health, CRANAplus, Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health, Northern Territory General Practice Education and the Northern Territory Government Department of Health.
