Population health

While the Northern Territory covers a large area (1.3 million square kilometres), it is sparsely populated with roughly 250,000 people, including a significant constituency of Aboriginal people.

We work to promote improved health outcomes for the entire NT population. As part of this, we aim to reduce preventable hospitalisation for people with chronic and vaccine preventable diseases. We also support health care providers to address factors impacting population health.
