Rural Workforce Agency (RWA) NT is partnering with Industry Health Solutions to find an experience Clinical or Registered Psychologist to join their multi-disciplinary team. Industry Health Solutions is a progressive provider of psychological, vocational rehabilitation and pain management services with a fresh, innovative approach to reducing the impact of health issues on the productivity of business and individuals.

In this role you will provide high level Psychometric assessments and provide a range of evidence-based clinical interventions for children aged between 3 – 17.

The Location: The Top End

There are plenty of activities to keep you entertained including the Deckchair Cinema, sailing, museums and shopping centres as well as being nearby Litchfield National Park for great camping and swimming. The region has a tropical climate with a distinctive dry and wet season.


  • A high level of competence in psychometric assessments and application of a range of evidence-based clinical interventions with children 3-17 years of age
  • Combine clinical components of psychology with establishing relationships with referrers and promoting the clinic and their services
  • Develop appropriate treatment plans based on the client’s needs and continuously monitor and evaluate for effectiveness
  • Ensure all documentation and records management and data entry is maintained and completed in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures and protocols


To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the below essential criteria:

  • Tertiary level qualification in Psychology with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and eligibility for membership of the Australian Psychological Society
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience working with adolescents and children
  • Access to a Medicare provider number
  • High level of competence in psychometric assessments and application of a range of evidence-based clinical interventions
  • Demonstrated ability to independently make sound judgement with minimum supervision such as the selection of appropriate clinical tests and treatment recommendations
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and reporting skills and the ability to establish good relationships with referrers and other health care professionals
