The Organisation:

Rural Workforce Agency Northern Territory (RWA NT) are partnering with Bodyfit NT to find a Clinical Physiotherapist to join their passionate team in their Yarrawonga clinic. Bodyfit NT is a multidisciplinary company providing a broad range of professional health, fitness, mobility and rehabilitation services, and delivers a unique combination of medically recognised exercise prescription, mobility, injury management and fitness training.

The Role:

As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include the delivery of Physiotherapy services to clients including private, DVA, third party, NDIS and bulk-billed in a range of settings including group classes and hydrotherapy. The role offers flexible working hours and can be part time or full time, to suit your lifestyle requirements. The region has a tropical climate with a distinctive dry and wet season.

Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Uphold the company’s core values and client delivery promises
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships and communication with the National and local key stakeholders and funding bodies where required
  • Sound knowledge in all IT and computer software systems
  • Integrate evidence-based practice as part of treatment
  • Reliably assess, diagnose and safely deliver physiotherapy services across a wide range clinical areas and health conditions
  • Design, prescribe and supervise exercise-based rehabilitation
  • Able to assess efficiency of treatment plans, modify and refer accordingly
  • Maintain qualifications by actively participating in ongoing Professional Development
  • Accurate and thorough documentation as per medico-legal requirements
  • Completing identified projects

Essential Criteria:

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the below essential criteria:

  • Current resume with 2 contactable referees
  • Demonstrated sound knowledge base in Physiotherapy
  • High levels of autonomy and initiative
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Effective time management skills and able to provide examples
  • Demonstrated personable skills and ability to develop long lasting working relationships with teams, current and future clients and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability working in a team environment
  • Strength in building customer and stakeholder relationships
  • An understanding of medical terminology, medical and allied health professional organisations and relevant stakeholders
  • Willingness to work reasonable additional hours as required
  • Current Senior First Aid
  • Current Police clearance
  • Current Working with Children (Ochre Card)
  • Current driver’s license

Desired Criteria:

  • Post-Graduate Qualifications in relevant field
  • Proactive in developing and implementing initiatives
