EOI - General Practitioner - Moil Medical Centre - Moil - NT

  • Up to 70% billing for FRACGP/FACRRM
  • Well established Darwin based bulk billing practice
  • Open to GP's eligible for provisional registration

The Practice:

RWA NT (Rural Workforce Agency Northern Territory) are partnering with Moil Medical Centre to find a General Practitioner to join their accredited general practice. Moil Medical Centre’s mission is to provide the highest standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach toward diagnosis and management of illness. Moil Medical are committed to promoting health, well being and disease prevention to all patients.

The Role:

As the successful General Practitioner, you are able to provide high quality holistic primary health care services to the people of Darwin and the surrounding areas. You will be part of a passionate team of health professionals that work together to provide excellent quality health care.

Key Responsibilities, but not be limited to:

  • Provide appropriate care and services to patients of all age ranges and varied health care needs
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of general practice presentations
  • Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations
  • Make referrals as required and liaise with other medical specialists and health care professionals
  • Prescribe, review and review prescription medications
  • Accurately document consultations
  • Maintain patient and practice confidentiality at all times

Essential Criteria:

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the below essential criteria:

Only applicants with full working rights within Australia will be considered (Australian Citizen or Permanent Residents) and eligible for provisional AHPRA registration 

  • Current resume with 2 contactable referees
  • Australian recognised medical degree
  • Current specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Fellow of RACGP or ACCRM
  • Two to five years previous experience in general practice
  • CPR or ALS certificate, undertaken within the past three years
  • Current medical indemnity cover or ability to obtain
  • Current Police Clearance
  • Current Working with Children (Ochre Card)
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Cover letter addressing experience, specialisation and interests, availability and strengths that can be brought to the role

Overseas Trained GP’S

The general practitioner will be required to provide evidence of:

  • Current primary source verification of medical qualifications (EICS verification)
  • Current RACGP assessment of experience in general practice
  • Current AMC MCQ part 1 and AMC Clinical part 2 test results or AMC certificate
  • Current OET or ILETS test results
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
