The Practice

New custom built Medical Centre, located in the Bakewell Shopping Centre with excellent exposure. Bellamack is a rural outer suburb of Palmerston. Palmerston is the satellite city to Darwin, and the highest residential growth area in the Northern Territory (NT). It is 26.5 km southeast of the Darwin CBD. This purpose built facility features seven good sized consulting rooms an good natural lighting. There are fully equipped modern treatment rooms, set up for any special interests including minor surgical procedures, pre-employment medicals, and work cover injuries.

The Role

Bakewell Medical Centre are seeking a full time general practitioner (GP) to join their new practice in Palmerston. The position is suitable for GPs with current general or specialist Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.

Essential Criteria

  • cover letter addressing experience, specialisation and interests, availability and strengths that can be brought to the role
  • must have current non-restricted registration with AHPRA and a general practice specialisation is essential
  • up to date CV detailing full experience
