The Practice:

Rural Workforce Agency (RWA NT) are partnering with Arafura Medical Clinics who are seeking expression of interest from experienced General Practitioners to join their well established modern and well equipped medical practices located in Casuarina, Palmerston, Humpty Doo, Howard Springs, Berry Springs and Zuccoli. Each clinic is committed to deliver high-quality medical services to the community. Arafura Medical Clinics are a family friendly environment where all patients receive a high standard of health care tailored to their medical requirements.

The Role:

Being responsible for providing high quality primary health care, you can bring your excellent skills and knowledge to are for your patients along with a passionate team of health professionals.

Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Provide appropriate care and services to patients of all age ranges and varied health care needs
  • Provide management of long-term conditions in line with national guidelines and pathways
  • Prescribe for patients as appropriate to their needs
  • Provide appropriate health promotion and preventative health care advice to all patients
  • Actively communicate and coordinate with colleagues, specialist services and allied health professionals when sharing patient care
  • Maintain patient and practice confidentiality at all times

Essential Criteria:

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the below essential criteria:

  • Possess full working rights within Australia 
  • Current resume with 2 contactable referees
  • Australian recognised medical degree
  • Current general or specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Two to five years previous experience in general practice
  • Fellow of RACGP or ACCRM or a recognised equivalent, highly regarded
  • Current Police Clearance
  • Current Working with Children (Ochre Card)
  • Current Driver’s License
