Rural workforce Agency is partnering with Movement for Life Physiotherapy to find a Physiotherapist to join their multi-disciplinary team. 

Movement for Life Physiotherapy is the only QIP Accredited Physiotherapy clinic in Darwin, offering a wide range of services, including sports injury management, clinical Pilates, return to work programs and hydrotherapy, all delivered by their specially trained physiotherapists.

In this role you will be responsible for the delivery, management and treatment of clients in a private outpatient setting.

THE LOCATION: COCONUT GROVE

Coconut Grove is a northern suburb of the city of Darwin and was named for the grove of coconuts on the coastal fringe of the area. It is a small residential and light industrial suburb. Coconut Grove is bounded by Progress Drive in the north, Bagot Road in the east, Totem Road in the south and the Darwin Harbour foreshore in the west. Coconut Grove is usually associated with the adjacent northern Darwin suburbs of Nightcliff, Millner and Rapid Creek.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assessment, treatment and management of clients with effective and efficient flow of clients
  • Administrative responsibilities specific to the area and client management including patient plans, notes, discharge letters, equipment requested, billing slips and statistics
  • Quality Improvement Activities related to the rotation including update and create patient handouts, protocols and procedures
  • Maintain continual professional development and compliance with Footprint, MyPhysio Career and in-service program

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the below essential criteria:

  • Completion of Bachelor or Masters of Physiotherapy.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience in the physiotherapy management of outpatients and outpatient rehabilitation clients preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for working in a team environment.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and electronic patient management systems
  • Demonstrated commitment to regular personal professional development.

The successful candidate must be willing to obtain a satisfactory police clearance and working with children check (ochre) prior to commencement in this role
