RWA NT (Rural Workforce Agency NT) are partnering with Wurli Wurlinjang Health Service (Wurli), to find a Credentialed Diabetes Educator to join their passionate team.
Being successful in the role, you are able to work closely with staff from all programs to provide comprehensive general practice service for the people with diabetes and their families. As you have flexibility, and are multi skilled, you are able to work with a diverse range of individuals, to incorporate advanced clinical care, self-management support, as well as running education and support groups and providing professional development to other clinicians.
Wurli is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation delivering primary and clinical health care services to the Aboriginal people in Katherine and surrounding communities. Wurli operates a range of clinics, that your role will service, which include main clinic (acute and general care), Gudbinji Chronic Disease Clinic, Binjari Health Centre, Women and Children’s Health and Men's Health.
Katherine is where the Outback meets the tropics. With so many landscapes and wonders to explore, such as thermal pools, waterfalls, Katherine Gorge, hiking trails and Cutta Cutta Caves, you will be able to immerse yourself into the tropical outback lifestyle. Katherine has a population of 6,303 and has modern facilities that include, supermarkets, shopping centres, banks, excellent cafes and restaurants, and has the RAAF Base Tindal close by.
