General Practitioner - Moil Medical Centre - Darwin

The Practice

Moil Medical Centre is an accredited general practice. The practice principal, Dr Tilakaratne has a long standing commitment to the community of Darwin, providing a bulk billing medical service. Moil Medical Centre’s mission is to provide the highest standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach toward diagnosis and management of illness. They are committed to promoting health, wellbeing and disease prevention to all patients. Moil Medical Centre is also a teaching facility for registrars, junior doctors and medical students in conjunction with NTGPE, Flinders University, University of Adelaide and the NT Clinical School.

The Role

Moil Medical are looking for a full or part time GP to work 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am – 12.30pm Saturday.

As a practicing GP at Moil Medical, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • diagnosis and management of a wide range of general practice presentations
  • conduct clinical assessments and evaluations
  • referrals and liaison with other medical specialists and health care professionals
  • prescribe, review and review prescription medications
  • accurately document consultations.

Essential Criteria

The successful candidate will be vocationally registered as a GP with either the Royal Australian College of General Practice or Australian College of Rural Remote Medicine or have general/provisional registration.

The following documents will be required as part of the application process:

  • up to date CV
  • verified medical degree
  • AHPRA registration details (either general registration or specialis as a general practitioner).
