Headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 years olds, along with promoting young peoples’ wellbeing. This covers four core areas: mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services.
Allied Health Practitioners are a key component of the mental health services provided within headspace Darwin. Allied Health Practitioners work as private providers supported by headspace Darwin, offering a range of specialist services across mental health, general and sexual health care, psycho-social support, family support, Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) counselling, vocational support, and functional recovery groups. As an Allied Health Practitioner, you will provide short-medium term, evidence-based assessment and intervention for young people presenting with mild-moderate mental health issues.
