Doctors at Palmerston offers a newly refurbished clinic located in the Palmerston Shopping Centre with plenty of parking and shopping facilities. Practice opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 3pm with the intention to operate on a seven day per week basis given the volume of both scheduled and walk in patients.
This mixed billing practice has become successful in a short time mainly due to the presence of dedicated doctors who provide quality pro-active care. The successful candidate will be supported by two reception/administrative staff along with a registered nurse with three consulting rooms and one surgical room.
Knowledge sharing is provided by an accredited Royal Australian College of General Practice (RACGP) supervising general practitioner (GP) who attends the clinic on a part time basis. Doctors at Palmerston foster a mentality of holistic patient care where follow up treatment and support has assisted in the establishment and reputation of successful chronic disease management, skin care management and psychological care. For the right candidate, the practice is open to multiple specialisations however would be particularly interested in GPs with an interest and practice in women’s health. Salary will be based on percentage of billing and the successful candidate will join a collaborative team environment in which weekend rotations are essential.
