Needs Assessment: Clinical Mental Health Workforce We’ve drafted a needs assessment of the mental health workforce, which covers three main areas: – access: improving access and continuity of access to essential primary health care – quality of access: building health workforce capability – future planning: growing the sustainability of the health workforce.
The overarching objective of the assessment is to address health workforce maldistribution, quality, and shortages in regional, rural, and remote Australia.
