Working rural remote has its own unique challenges and it is vital the health care professionals that work hard to improve the health and wellbeing of all Territorians, are themselves healthy and well.
Bush Support Service
NT PHN encourages all health professionals working rural remote to access the Bush Support Service offered by CRANAplus.
The Bush Support Line is:
- a confidential telephone debriefing and psychological support service
- a free service
- available 24 hours a day
- available to all remote health practitioners and their families
- answered by psychologists with remote, rural and cross cultural experience
- anonymous – callers do not have to identify themselves if they do not wish to do so.
