COVID-19 Primary Care Management: Top End – Darwin model

COVID-19 Primary Care Management: Top End – Darwin model

Most COVID-19 patients can be safely managed in the community with effective monitoring protocols to detect deterioration through their GP.

With the launch of the COVID-19 Primary Care Management pathway on Northern Territory HealthPathways, the NT PHN in collaboration with NT Health would like to invite GPs to a webinar to discuss the current work and provide information on the COVID CareNT pathways.

Please note the processes mentioned within this webinar refer to the Darwin centered model of COVID CareNT.

Topics include:

  • The role of the general practitioner
  • registration with COVID CareNT to be triaged to a Care pathway,
  • process of escalating up or down monitoring pathways,
  • and care for patients with ongoing symptoms following COVID-19.
